If you're concerned about cholestrol you can always get eggbeaters. They are vitamin fortified and have the same amount of protein.

    No!!! :|

If you're concerned about cholesterol fix whatever is causing your body to create more cholesterol. Which in many people's case is very poor health combined with obesity, smoking, alcohol abuse, stuff like that.

I don't have a problem with you eating eggbeaters or whatever it is, I have a problem with people avoiding eggs because of cholesterol ;)

every morning i have 3 eggs, take 2 yolks out, a can of tuna, a tomatoe and some onion all cooked together to make a omlette, takes about 5 minutes to prepare and cook.

I remember reading about a body builder having over 20 eggs a day, they did tests for his cholesterol and it was at a normal level, so eat as many eggs as you want it wont effect you negatively in any way.

Tinned Tuna isnt the best source of protein although its a good alternative. And BB's take the Yolk out because it contains a fair amount of unsaturated and saturated fats. Myself personally i eat ALOT of eggs. I lurrve scrambled eggs espically in Tuna bakes which i have with rice. High source of good carbs and proteins.

i eat alot of tuna bake usually with pasta and cheese, love it.
Is there any thing wrong with tinned tuna, i usually eat about 4 tinns a day, i have read somewhere they have a alot of mercury in them, but using my common sense i gathered 4 tins a day wouldnt be enough to effect me.

A large egg contains about 5 grams of fats, only about half of which is saturated. Fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) are all in the yolk's fat. Throwing that away is stupid, even for a bodybuilder. 5 grams of fat, a mere 45 kcal on a diet consisting of many thousands of kcal no doubt. One minute they throw away a yolk because of the fats, and the next they probably take a large plate full of relatively nutrient poor pasta.

Science from the previous century is the worst thing that ever happened to nutrition.

yeah but when you have as many eggs as a body builder would over a week or a month or a year all those 45 kcal egg yolkes of saturated fat add up, every little bit you can cut out helps in the long run
