Bear in mind Emanuel Williams did no worse than would ninety percent of keyboard warriors - many of whom probably couldn't even muster the guts to step in the ring in the first place.

Still, though... Yikes.

You'll be shocked - downright gobsmacked, I tells ya - to learn that Rincón and Williams have gone on to diametrically opposed career trajectories since this ...erm, fierce struggle.

Williams has lost his subsequent three, all via KO in one round (before ultimately calling it a day thirteen months after this disastrous maiden voyage) - while the southpaw Texan has stayed the course and is currently 9-0, active until as recently as this past April.

Apparently whatever pop he possessed down at lightweight vs. Williams has dissipated in the move up to welter, however. He is 4-0 (0) at the weight.
