a pro-Margarito outlook would be, "I think he is innocent", I just think he "could" be and have refrained from using the terms, "rockgloves" and "Plasterito" as a result.
Yep, unnoticable to the point where they slipped past the commissioners, who's job is to stand watch out for this kind of thing.
A pro Margarito would be "HELL NO, HE AIN'T NEVER DONE NOTHING LIKE THAT!!". An offense this heinous would require that kind of response.
just too hard to believe that he wouldn't know about that. Especially if it was long time trainer. If he did it with Margo, he probably must of done with his other fighters too. So maybe somebody should ask them.
Richardsons original statement was " BLOCKS fell out of Margaritos wraps" That was a blatent lie why wasnt he punished for that libelous statement. Richardson was just causing disruption in Margarito's dressing room so Mosely could slip through juiced unnoticed . Thats my theory
I am glad Margarito is fighting Manny and I think he could redeem himself with a win on November 13th, but in all likelyhood there was something in the wrap which was there to help him. Great fighters do not need help like that.
If the fighter knows about them, they could to a degree. If Tony knew that the pads would harden by the middle rounds, he might mentally be prepared to take more punishment knowing that he'll be able to dish it out later. If there is no secret weapon to draw on, the incentive to absorb a beating would be diminished because there is no payoff to look forward to. Suppose you and your friend are each told that you must clean portable toilets for a period of one year. For your work, you will earn $20,000. Your friend on the other hand is told he will earn $20,000,000. Which one of you is more likely to be able to smile while doing the job and hold up under duress?
It's so rarely someone makes a well-thought and articulated post. Usually they're just like this one.
