Either Pac's chin is gone or Marquez is now a superhuman puncher

The punch in the vid I posted is essentially the same punch, its too hard to tell whether pac saw it or not. But he obviously didn't see it coming the way he lowered his guard and let the punch slip through, just like in those gifs.

In any case, I've seen pac hit with bigger shots that he's run INTO, that caught him blind, and it barely startled him. Check the Cotto fight.
Unless JMM is a better puncher then Cotto now , I don't think its farfetched at all to say that Pac's chin has deteriorated a bit. Just look at how many wars in the ring and the gym this guy has been through. Even when he dominates, he gets hit alot. That combined with age / wear and tear can certainly have an effect on you, your gullible if you believe otherwise.

btw , why couldn't JMM stun Pac with anything in the 3rd fight? Are you telling me he wasn't putting anything into his punches there? He caught Pac with some big shots, including the one I posted. Size / conditioning wise he looked about identical to the 4th fight.

Post shots he hasn't seen coming he's run into that look as hard. Post them.

Your efforts have been refuted again and again. Absent a violent beatdown, chin is the last thing to go on an aging fighter. Marquez trained for the KO, was throwing with bad intentions, caught Manny with a shot he didn't see coming flush on the chin as he was coming in. That's the end of it.

Gladly , give me some time and I'll get them up.

btw off the top of my head, check the 2nd fight with JMM where he caught Pac in mid-air with a left hook that he didn't see coming. Pac was stunned for about a split second and recovered. I'm sure you know the one I'm talking about - tell me that wasn't a better shot.

Well Pacquiao was coming in and he caught him, i didn't expect a knockout or even a knockdown from JMM at first after h eknocked him down i thought PEDS but i mean theyre both older maybe Pacs chin is worse or it was just a great ounch by JMM who knows we cant tell what Pacs chiin is like really without being him

Considering Marquez has to extend his left and reach to land that left hook, Pac is moving away from Marquez, and is looking towards Marquez's direction, I can certainly tell you it wasn't a better shot.

So your telling me that a reaching, looping right on your blindside/temple, is a better shot then a left hook square on the chin, while your in mid-air and looking the other way.

    That's what's called reaching.

This punch was an extended, overhand shot , almost an arm punch. Pac has run into stiffer shots then that countless times, you gotta be nutty to think otherwise. I'll have some more examples for you after I get off work.

The punch landed differently on a different spot, and I believe Pac was more prepared to take that punch. A punch can slip through that you see at the last second.

His chin may have deteriorated a bit, I'm not saying that. But I'm not going to say his chin is gone, or Marquez is a 'superhuman' puncher because he was KTFO. Paul Williams could absorb a huge amount of punches, then Sergio left him KTFO. He then went on to take a huge amount of left hands by Lara, didn't look near getting KTFO. Meanwhile Martinez hasn't left anyone in the shape he did Williams. No chin completely gone, no superhuman punching power.

It's a difference in 'putting something' on a punch and trying to KTFO your opponent. Marquez was trying to KTFO Pac, before he was just trying to win the boxing match. Pac ran into a perfect counter by someone trying to put him to sleep. You're acting like he just threw a straight right and Pac crumbled.

^ I'm not disagreeing with you about the knockout shot. That was a perfect punch that was made 100x worse by Pac running and falling into it. I think that would have knocked out anybody.

But the first knockdown punch didn't look like anything I haven't seen Pac soak up before, including from bigger, stronger fighters.

He was already wobbled in 2004 from the same kind of shot, except Marquez brought his legs forward better as he advances, and Manny was practically on one leg. And he of course increased his mass. Nothing inexplicable there.

 @ the first knockdown on Pac being an "arm punch" tell that to his sparring partners that were dropped and rocked by the same shot.

I dunno, why did Gene Fullmer walk through Sugar Ray Robinson for 15 rounds in 3 of their fights, but get knocked loopy in their second fight with a single left hook when Robinson was moving backwards?

It's boxing. **** happens. In Pacquaio-Marquez IV both fighters were clearly looking for a knockout, planting their feet, and throwing caution to the wind. Aligned with possibly declining punch resistance, it was always likely that someone was going to get clipped.

With a perfectly timed, perfectly aimed punch the opponent doesn't see coming and ****ing lunges straight into, even a feather-fisted fairy can knock out a granite chinned slugger. YDKSAB. Get out.
