Either Vanes vs GGG or no fight?

    Vanes vs GGG or no fight. Spike turned down the fight not enough time or money. Not sure how much was offered. Vanes is willing to fight him, just give him a chance it better than waiting until sept. for Canelo.

    Agree. I hope the Canelo rematch takes place at some point but GGG should not wait for him. He was doing fine
    before Canelo. He has 2 or 3 fights left to pass the title defense record and should focus on that.

    Yes people just want to see ggg fight. Vanes beat Nelson, Ishe Smith easily. Very close fight with Charlo. He has been inactive because of a fall out with Haymon.

    At least Vanes will bring it and be able to take it for a bit unlike Sullivan.

    Vanes makes sense he has a name has Armenians which will show up. Dchenko is only known by us boxing nerds way too late to schedule that fight.

    How much was the offer everyone turns down? I think any offer 500k or more should be taken, because you have a lot to gain with a win over ggg. Lemieux got 500k for the Saunders fight and GGG is the bigger name. Hopefully Vanes could get the fight.

    I've heard thru the grapevine that HBO is only putting up 250-350k for the opponent.
    GGG is playing his contract clause to deepen the damages to GBP by not extending his contract for 2 more fights.

    He has this show and another on this latest 4 fight extension that started with DJ.
    Perhaps he's rewatched the Kovalev fights and his Alvarez fight with the volume on and realized how deep they're in the tank for Alvarez and Ward.

    Vanes has always wanted to fight the best and he's won some big fights and held his own with the best.
    No doubt he'd be a top 10 opponent in GGGs run.
