Holyfield is broke with 11 kids from 11 different baby mamas.

Tyson is a broke convicted ******.

50 cent is a hating ass former friend.

It clearly had a huge impact in the first and only real negeotiations that took place 2010. It was the thing that acually made the fight fell apart.

    It may well have been.

In fact, if memory serves, it WAS.

    Doesn't alter anything.

Drug tests had nothing to do with it.

    And never had.

Every boxer (and person) has their faults outside of the ring. Doesn't impair their abilities in any way to observe a situation and draw a conclusion.

Foreman, Tyson, Holyfield, Duran, Hagler, Delahoya, Mosley, and a herd of other boxers have opined that Floyd didn't want to fight peak Pac.

Not a single one of note has defended Floyd's case.

Foreman thought Trinidad would beat Hopkins because he always favors the brawler

Duran is a quitter. **** him.

Hagler is reminded of SRL when he sees Floyd. He has to hate him.

Delahoya is a crack head that envies Floyd's success

Mosley is a hating ass Uncle Tom.

The point is, their opinions are colored by their out of the ring personalities and characters. Therefore, there opinin of Floyd ducking Pac is BS because they are biased.

A nice little set of rationalizations there, mancat. But they all see what's in front of their eyes.

You'll note that I don't have to tear down the reputations of boxers who see it Floyd's way here, because.....

    ...there aren't any !

    Floyd feared Pac.

Sorry man but this has to be one of the dumbest statements ever . . . first you say it was about drug testing and then you say it wasnt! You cannot re-write history . . . the deal fell apart because Floyd wanted testing up to the time the stepped into the ring and Pac didnt and they could compromise. since that time it has been nothing but a dragged out soap opera

There's a documentary releasing at the end of this year called "Champs" featuring the likes of Tyson, Pacquiao, Hopkins, Sugar Ray, Wahlberg, De Niro, Denzel Washington etc. However, there's no FMJ? Coincidence...?

These fighters from older eras are thinking from a slave perspective. Floyd is a Boss, he refused to be bossed by Arum. Real recogize real, and slaves think the best slave is the one who picks the most cotton. Even though the slave ends up broke, other slaves say, "oooooo he strong, he tuff! When I was young I would pick like dat too!"

Floyd was like, "I'm following the North star."

Calm yourself down, lad. Take a few deep breaths, and reread my posts, this time with some attention.

Nowhere did I say it was about drug testing. In fact, I specifically stated that the reason the fight didn't happen had nothing to do with drug tests.

The reason the deal fell apart was that Floyd never wanted to face Pac on account of Pac's performances against Hatton, and then Cotto.

The drug stuff was just a distraction. Later, it was vacations. Later still, the split.

A host of boxers and former boxers have stated as much, and it's pretty obvious to any serious observer of the whole dragged-out mess.

No matta how you spins things, mancat, li'l floyd jus' didn' have no inclination to climb in there with that li'l Filipino midget !

Why he'd pick all the cotton on ten plantations, afore he face Massah Manny !

Dat li'l Yellow man puts the fear of the Lawd in li'l Floyd's very soul, messin' up his mind and causin' his colon an'rectum to go in spasms at the very thought o' what happen'd to poor Miguel and that Ricky boy.

No siree, no fight'n him, no way, no how !
