The gulf in skills in 2017. Does a 2017 Valdez lose a round against Tommasone - or allow him to hang around to see a seventh?

Yeah...hopefully they don't waste too much time with some pathetic singers attempting to extend their 15 minutes of fame with a dragged-out disgrace of a national anthem performance...although that **** has become the norm lately. They used to have legit singers now they all sound like Yoko Ono.

Kovalev can't catch a break, most people believe he was robbed in Ward 1, was foul Ko'd in Ward 2, KO upset in his last fight, goes from HBO PPV to a $5 app that doesn't start until most people are in bed :ohno:lol:

TBF, most big fights start at 11:30 — 12:00 to accommodate west coast viewers. Pacquiao-Broner opening bell didn't start until 12:35 AM EST.

I get the feeling Kovalev will fight aggressively from the start and hopefully he can put the pressure on and keep it on. He seems to get in trouble when he is not aggressive and sits back, then he is ordinary.

Entertaining fight for us but another win over Servania does nothing for his career.

Valdez needs to fight the "name fighters" NOW.

A rematch would be very interesting down the line should they both keep winning.

I give Kovalev the credit. To go in the ring in his next fight after being knocked out. That shows confidence and maybe he saw something he liked or knows he can improve. Although I always wondered why Hearns was so eager to get Hagler again. He really wanted him.
