El Canelo said he'll take Paquiao out and avenge the 2 mexicans he beat in the year 2011. He already took out Baldomir by KO, he defeated Ndou and that african guy on dec 4. Chavez Jr has been dodging him(mayweather style) and anouncers have said a good match for him would be miguel cotto which I think could be a good stepping stone towards Manny. Anyone think this could be a good match?

If he can make 147 then lets make it happen.

Hopefully GBP doesnt screw it up and just let TR handle the promotion part.

Pacquiao would have to decline significantly. A roughly well rounded, basic offensive fighter with decent power and an unpolished defense...and not much else...isn't going to beat Pacquiao, or Cotto, anytime soon.

He's pretty good but very young still, he's 20 years old. I also think 2012 is more realistic but he wants to get at him 2011 and says he'll be ready so we'll see. As for now he still has stuff to prove and fight maybe Miguel Cotto so he can be noticed. I think he's got a good shot at fighting cotto so 2011 shouldl be an interesting year.

Maybe he can do what vargas was unable to....

He has the skills, he needs to more decent fights to Improve the defense... we saw in his last fight him being more cautious and defensive... something his new trainer has been working on to be patient and not go straight for the KO like a mad man...

2 more fights against good experienced guys and He is ready....

we should not wait 5+ years the kid has demonstrated talent..

I think early 2012 is the best choice IMO
