I just rewatched their first fight and it was pretty good. Trout put up a great fight in his recent outing against charlo and in my opinion he is definitely still a top 5 fighter at 154. I wouldn't mind watching a rematch with canelo honestly. Canelo plans to go to 160 soon but I want to see him fight Lubin, and jrock, and trout(again) before he moves up. But who wins the rematch tho?

I think Trout wins the rematch. Trout has gotten better with his aggression and avoiding right straights, and he probably remembers Canelo's style. Trout has always had good attack, just poor defense. El Cinnabon, on the other hand, doesn't seem to be really improving, he just comes out and does the same thing every time. Granted, he's good, but it seems predictable.

Canelo is one of those fighters where I wonder if he's subtly SUPER good and I'm missing it, or if he really is stagnating in terms of ability. Trout is always slick, and he's smart with his offense.

P.S. Trout is one of my favorite fighters, so my perspective is probably skewed.

Canelo knocks him out. Trout did nothing but pitty pat. He didn't throw anything that even remotely troubled Canelo. Canelo won that fight clearly.

Trout beats Canelo this time 8-4 and still loses on points.

Canelo knocks him out this time

Canelo has improved and Trout has diminished

Canelo would win again possibly by stoppage this time. Would like to see a rematch though as Im not sure which Austin Trout turns up. If the Trout who fought him last time and the Trout who fought Charlo turns up he's a live underdog. If the Trout who fought Daniel Dawson turns up he's getting KO'd.

It will still be a good fight, I don't think it will be as close but Canelo still wins and probably gets a stoppage this time around.

It will probably be more action packed this time with Canelo having improved and Trout having slowed down a bit.

Trout can't beat Canelo. Trout would have to beat two out of the top 5 at jmw to earn a rematch.
