I use to dislike Tito..because after he got the gift against DLH he acted like he won...then he ran to 154.

But now I have to say I miss him and what he brought to boxing....90's boxing is very underrated...There were some great boxers in their primes back then..so talented that some are still competitive today.

Fighters like the following were more talented than most of todays fighters:

    Felix Trinidad
    Roy Jones Jr.
    Oscar De La Hoya
    Bernard Hopkins
    Winky Wright
    Sugar Shane Mosley
    Pernell Whitaker
    Julio Cesar Chavez
    Ike Quartey
    Lennox Lewis
    Marco Antonio Barrera
    Naseem Hamed

just to name a ****ing FEW...

    AHHH Yes! The good'ol days.

I remember how my neighborhood felt so alive the week leading up to a Tito fight. The music, the food, the women!! I would watch it with three and four generations of die-hard puerto rican boxing fans.

There was no better time to be a Puerto Rican.

The night he got the nod over Oscar was the pinnacle of our love affair with that man. After that he could do no wrong!! Even after Bernard and Winky. There aren't enough words to describe the impact he had on our pride as a people.

He stood as a champion amongst champions. A king amongst kings. And we were with him every step of the way!!

    Long live our great champion!!

That is bull****. The official word was: It looked suspicious so we made him do it again. The unofficial version is the way they use the tape is not legal in NY but perfectly legal in other places like Nevada.
Tito lost to BHOP because he didn't belong to that weight class. Same as DLH. Still, Tito did a better job and lasted longer against BHOP than DLH
