If Casa comes in good shape as vs Marquez he has a good chance to outpoint Valero. And because of his counter punching ability and good technical skills combined with his experience he might be the first to test Valero('s chin).

Is this fight in the make or about to possible happen?

 

Casamayor is pretty damn close to shot. He got his ass kicked by Santa Cruz and he was getting his ass kicked by exciting but VERY mediocre Michael Katsidis before timing a perfect punch. That he held his own against JMM (and that JMM struggled with Juan Diaz) is just proof that JMM doesn't is past his best at 135 and above. Casa will make it look ugly, but Valero should be able to outwork him and break him down. Of course, Valero's chin isn't really tested, so who knows.

However, if it means no Finito for a month, I'll be rooting like hell for Casa.
