he's probably going to get Casamayor's trainer, Wilfredo Gomez, Ronnie Shields, or Evangelista Cotto.

I respectfully disagree... I think that all athletes have the potential to grow, learn and adjust to new techniques and styles. Miguel it's a great athlete, so I don't see why he couldn't change and improve with the right mentor. Perhaps Trinidad should have think the same way...

You know what you know and you do what you're accustom to doing ... this guy is undefeated and if he remains undefeated - where's the need for change in his mind?

can you give me an example where a fighter changed trainers and got better? ... they either didn't adjust well to the training methods of their new trainers or they change all together and become something they can't live up to.

I know plenty of examples of guys changing trainers weren't good - and didn't do well with new trainers ... in fact all it did was cause them to change trainers again.

    #1 I didn't ask you ... .

#2 That **** isn't true ... Pacquiao didn't get better ... he learn some new stuff but none has been a part of his victories ... he still paws with the jab and throws the straight left hand ... :good

Joan Guzman. He was undeafeated before the Soto fight and people questioned why he changed trainers. If it aint broken dont fix it..
However after the Barrios fight it was very obvious that he was easy to hit. I mean Barrios loops his punches and are very predictable and Guzman was gettin hit with alot of them.
In the Soto fight he improved due to getting FLoyd in his corner.

Forget the high profile trainers like Mayweather Sr., Steward or Roach. Cotto would flourish under Shields or Goosen.

Roach trains in Hollywood but that would be a good choice, Mcgirt would be the worst move Cotto could make....
