Could Floyd survive the rabid, relentless attack from el Perro like Lara did? Lara is very similar to Floyd, both slick, fast and mobile fighters, both great technicians with superb defense and counterpunching ability, both great athletes, both vastly superior to el Perro from a technical standpoint Yet Lara was in the fight of his life, against a pressure fighter who only had the atributes of a great chin, stamina, a murderous punch and the will to take 5 punches to land one. El Perro would do the same with Floyd, he'd never give him any room to breathe or to get on his rythm, he wouldn't try to box or counterpunch the superior boxer (like Canelo naively tried to do), he'd stalk Floyd the whole night, blocking punches with his face while walking Floyd down, punching with Floyd, using his superior size and weight advantage, and looking to land a big one, and considering El Perro's power (which is superior to Canelo's most likely) that's all he could need. What saved Lara that night wasn't his superior speed or skills, it was his power, he disfigured el Perro's eye so badly to the point that el Perro prefered to quit. Pillowfisted Floyd doesn't have Lara's power, he couldn't make Angulo go ¨no mas¨ like Lara did, much less knock him out. He would have to beat el Perro on points like he always does, but could he run the whole night and survive that crazy amount of pressure? could he reach the last bell without being knocked down, hurt, or KO'd in the process? I favour Floyd but I reckon it would be a very tough fight for him. There's a reason Floyd ducked a prime Margarito after all
Hahahahaha... some people are really rattled about Floyd aren't they? Angulo would be smacked around like a rag doll. Lara moved on the back foot too much, which allowed Angulo to have all the momentum going forward. Floyd would set his feet a lot more and not allow that to happen. horrible miss-match.
I know its way over-used but, Angulo would get eh "Gatti Treatment." Only this time it might be true.
I would much rather see Angulo fight Floyd than Khan, Alexander, or Garcia. There would definitely be moments where Floyd embarrasses Angulo, but Alfredo wouldn't stop.
he has as much a chance as anybody else which would be slim to none, there is just no one out there that would give mayweather that much of a fight. mayweather is just too slipppery and defensive minded for anyone to beat him. if mayweather had ko power or more damaging power he would be my favorite fighter.
