Maybe so, but you can't even admit that the Barrera that fought Haseem was better than the Barrera that fought Jones.

Barrera became an a technical boxer as his career progressed. And during the Jones fights he was basically a brawler-puncher.

I can admit that he did somewhat alter his style but don't act like he was green when he fought Jones because he wasn't.

Certainly not a bad list at all. However, I don't believe you can make a compelling case that Morales took on better guys than Mayweather. Hernandez is number 5 on your list. I would actually have him lower on the list. But it's your list. Mayweather actually fought Hernandez. I wouldn't put him on the list of the top 5 guys that Mayweather fought just at SFW. That gives you an idea of how much deeper Mayweather's list of opponents potentially is.

He wasn't inexperienced. He had lots of fights. He just wasn't as good. Just point blank. He wasn't as good in the Jones fights compared to his more measured and skilled style he later developed.

Eric has nothing to say... Nothing at all..... If he didn't take so many ass-beatings he'd still be fighting...

    Mayweather's toughest fighters fought.

    1. Castillo
    2. Corrales
    3. Judah
    4. Hatton
    5. Pacquiao

Taking into account when and at what weight he faced them. Judah is an extremely underrated win for Floyd.

But Morales' resume is just so much more top heavy than Floyd's it's laughable. The guy fought prime Barrera and Pacquiao six times. He had wars with Barrera and Pacquiao 3 months apart.

That's why he commands so much respect.

He was better that night until he was TKO'd. He was ahead on all cards before he punched himself out...

Yes and he was dropped twice in the second round by Morales.

Just because Floyd had an uncharacteristic performance against Chavez doesn't make Chavez better than Corrales and Castillo.

I think it's crazy that no one gives Floyd any credit for beating Chico, Canelo and Cotto. Before he fought them, the world swore he was scared and they were too dangerous but then he fought them and won decisively they were too green or not ready or boring. People swore for years Floyd would never fight Pac but it was Floyd who made the fight happen. El Terrible has no right to say anything about boxing ever again..cheater. And I agree, NO ONE wants to see him fight Berto, i'd rather see him fight Kell Brook, Tim Bradley or Keith Thurman
