What a superb action fight this would be, a surefire classic in the Mexico vs Puerto Rico rivalry. I'll go with Morales between 7 and 9.
the jury is still out on JuanMa. He's obviously a very very good fighter but only time will tell if he deserves this kind of comparison.
I love JuanMa but it's too soon to say he is capable of beating an ATG like Morales...Morales by KO...
Yep. let him face the Caballero's, the (aging) Marquez & Vasquez's of the superbantamweight division first... Let us see how he copes when someone puts him in the trenches and throws the kitchen sink at him from start to finish! I'd have Morales via putting it on JuanMa.. mixing it up beautifully... boxing on his feet & then punching once he moves in on JuanMa pinned against the ropes! JuanMa-Pacquiao @ 122 (the old unfinished, pre-Marquez 2 Pacquiao...) or even at 126 (JuanMa is pretty big @ 122) is a fantasy-fight too! But as I said, we still need to see how JuanMa fights when his back is sometimes up against the wall & he's gotta dig deep.
:good I think it's better to start asking the eastside opinion of what happens when JuanMa faces the other 122lb champions of today in their present forms!
I think MAB beat him at 122lb, as did a lot of others. Morales was far from unbeatable as a Super Bantamweight.
Wayne McCullough vs. JuanMa back in the day would've been a great fight... Pacquiao, too. McCullough threw punches at a rate which was unheard of back then. Before the likes of Margarito, Paul Williams & Calzaghe were on PPV or TV at all!!! JuanMa throws a lot of punches (and damn hard ones too!) in his own right...!!
