    :-(

He was taken the distance by Paul Samuels, then loses to Darren McDermott..... and is in for the title!

    Wonder how Groves feels

Groves sparred with Barker for this fight.

Bunce said Mick was in talks with 3 fighters. Wonder who the other 2 were? :think.

To be fair to Butler I hear his defeat to McDermott could've gone either way.

At this late notice its not too bad an opponent really, we dont know whats gone on behind the scenes.

Would've still preffered to see Yassine though!

**** poor show!, theres only 2 big fights on the whole card and hennysy cant even get that right.....zzzzzz!!!

and people wonder why terrestrial channels like bbc an itv want nothing to do with boxing.

hennysy had his chance and ballsed it up, cheers!

To be honest at 2 days notice Butler is a decent replacement. The lad has abit of ability and should last awhile and is not an Afrobum or Eurobum.

At this late notice most fighters would turn the opportunity down if they thought they had a chance of getting a legit crack and this to Butler must be a dream ticket and worth pulling out all the stops.

Still disapointed Elcick is out though and not sure the fight would have been right for Groves this early in his career. He is still learning and this fight would bring too many big fights too soon for the lad.

Cant blame Hennessy for Elcock pulling out for being ill, and to be fair its a decent replacement at such late notice.

Can blame him for his wank undercard though.

He has a huge fight against a eurobum. He likes to test himself obviously.

Hopefully not where he got his injury.

Is the belt still on the line?

If true, then its understandable, because he said it himself that all he needs to do before he goes for a British title is to start getting adjusted to 8, 10 and 12 rounders. Would have been too big of a step up at this stage and we all know how precious that '0' is in boxing these days.
