You had three American OLYMPIC MEDALISTS (back when that meant something), two guys from countries with huge boxing fan populations, (Froch and Abraham), and Kessler. Bute doesn't even represent a country, he represents a PROVINCE, the guy could walk down the street in Toronto tomorrow by himself. Kessler is the only guy you could make a case for under Bute, and Kessler was hands down (in my opinion) better than Bute; maybe we could ask Froch?

People have an idealistic view of boxing, but when it comes down to it, billionaires like making money.

Bute was never even close to being considered the best, he was a fraud all along, ducking the S6 and hiding in Canada. I hope the fraud finally hangs it up.

 

You seem like such an unbiased and level headed observer. I definitely feel like I should take your opinion at face value.

 

When did I ever claim to be unbiased? Nobody here is unbiased! For years I've had the same opinion of him, and I was right all along, even in the face of his staunchest supporters.

Sure I'm biased, but I know what I'm talking about. One doesn't preclude the other.
