Eleider Alvarez: A Storm Is Brewing In The Gulf Of Urabá-The Hurricane Of Apartado

Eleider Alvarez is a 30 year old 6'0 Light Heavyweight with a 16-0 9 KO's record. Born in Apartado, Colombia and fighting out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Its been a slow rise to prominence for Eleider the former 2007 Gold Medalist at the Pan Am Games in fact I wouldn't call him a prospect, since he's been a pro for 5 years, but along the way he's been racking up decent wins over slightly past it guys but recently he outboxed fellow LHW prospect Ryno Liebenberg by way of 7th round stoppage due to damage to his eye. He's definitely in the picture in the fast growing division and I'm not sure if he can compete with the Beasts from the East, but sooner or later we're going to find out, because its about time for him to truly step up and show us what he's made of. He's got a good left jab and decent hand speed, he gets hit way too often but he's pretty good.
