then we basically only disagree on round 1 because I can get 10-9 for rios in round 9. I think most people had rios up by 1/2 points going in the 10th round.
I had a similar card. The first round was very competitive (perhaps, PERHAPS a draw) but I thought Acosta did the cleaner work. Round five was a bit difficult to score, but I thought Rios command over the ring and his more effective punches edged Acosta's - still, as in almost the whole fight - cleaner work. The seventh could appear as being a bit controversial but I gave it to Acosta. Sure, he had lost a bit of steam on his punches but on the contrary to what he himself says, I only think it was after the second knockdown he completely lost his punching power. Rios didn't do enough even thogh you could sense which way the tide was turning. The ninth was a clear Rios round for me and that's the only part I disagree with you. Acosta had his moments but Rios' punches had such an effect on Acosta and the look on Acosta's face told it all. It was deperation throwing because he had no energy left to move - he HAD to stand there! The only one I had real trouble with was the fifth - it could have gone either way, IMO.
YOu do realise that his stupitidy and ignorance is an act to differentiate himself from other boxing outlets? Every once in a while he slips up in one of his videos or comments and you see the real Sekhbach.
Ellie is the man, he has given boxing alot of behind the scenes scoops, and I for one am grateful. He is a lucky guy getting to meet all these superstars and I envy him for that.
