I had it a draw, but salido was punching low all night and he should have had points deducted.

 

If a guy is clinching all night and he doesn't want to fight then low blow his ass. Remind him pro boxers are supposed to have balls.

No it's not a coincidence that he has Loma on many of his videos, Loma is a hot subject and Elie makes thousands of videos...so 230 videos of Elie videos means 1%...so Loma didn't get anywhere near 1% of his videos, while most of u guys put much more % of urban posts into it faves

Elie makes a good point. Most of Saldio's 'body' punches were well below the belt.

He should have been docked at least two points during the course of the fight, if not DQ'd.

Loma could of pulled a Bhop but the kid obviously has way too much class for that.

If the ref stopped the horrendous Salido holding in rds 11 & 12 Loma stops him.

I can't argue with the decision, Lomo just didn't punch enough in most of the early rounds to justify giving them to him, but the low blows were ridiculous. Must have been at least 50, I'm counting all the thigh and hip punches too, they are low and very painful. Actually I think 50 might be a bit low, the last couple rounds when Lomo was coming on that is pretty much all Salido threw. And I think most of them were on purpose too. Something has to be done about stuff like this, totally unfair to Lomo not only to have to take all the low punches, but he also had to widen his defense to account for them, and that shouldn't happen. I know Salido is the "old pro" using everything in the book to win, and maybe Lomo should have retaliated, but that was a bunch of crap and if the ref wasn't going to do anything, maybe in the future judges can adjust their scoring or something and not award rounds to guys like that.

Certainly the fight plays out differently to that point if the ref stopped Loma from holding rounds 1 through 10.

 

The best was still when Showtime included him as a press row scorer and he had Rios sweeping the early rounds against Acosta.

I have to correct myself, because he apparently had the fight even after 4, which is still an awful scorecard since Acosta was kicking his ass, but not as blatant as I recalled.

Now his 9-3 card for Rios over Abril on the other hand puts that one to shame.

 

I thought he had Rios beating Acosta early in the fight. Maybe it was thru 3 he had it 2-1... Either way it looked really bad when Rios came back and starting winning a couple rounds and scoring a KD, Seckback had him up like 9 points by that time!
