    Pierce coming forward now, which is just giving Mike chances to land cleaner. Pierce drops him with a straight left counter, he makes it up at 8, and it's waved off. A bit early, by the scumbag ref.

    Dude, I fell asleep RIGHT after this, which is why I didn't score last night. :lol: Rewatching the fight now.

    Well since I was unconscious when I first watched it, I suppose "Re" isn't entirely accurate. :D

    Even though I picked Pierce to win, I was taken aback by his method of victory. But based on the aggressiveness of Plania, it didn't wholly shock me. But it did bum me out a bit, I thought for sure he could be another solid Filipino warrior to add to the mix after he beat Greer. But with the Aleem fight and now this, all he can hope for his a career of being a so so journeyman.:ohno

    He really got starched too, it came out of nowhere. The punch looked like a hard jab, and it basically destroyed Plania. Almost invisible at normal speed. It was certainly unexpected, as Plania clearly won the first two rounds.

    I'm glad I decided to watch this fight when I was awake!!
