Thought folks might be interested. This goes back a couple of months, but maybe it hasn't been posted. Boxing fans may remember Tillary from the Riddick Bowe "kick" fight, where Tillary kicked at Bowe and Rock Newman put a choke hold on him and pulled him out of the ring!

OK, this is over 2 years old I know.

    I'd quite like to have heard Tillery's 12 page statement ( "

    " ) :D

I dont know about the case in question, but I felt Tillery was unfairly DQ'd in that first Bowe fight. Ok, multiple kicks notwithstanding, what Bowe did with that ridiculous after-the-bell shot was blatantly against the rules too.

Elijah Tillery still remains incarcerated in
a NYS Correctional Facility. He is due for
release in approximately 18 months. His
legal issues are no different than anyone
else's who opts for a trial and not cop a plea.
He's paying his debt to society. He has
plans to become a trainer upon release.

Thanks for the update. As far as I'm concerned, once Tillery has served his time, he should be able to work wherever he can get a job. Being a boxing trainer seems like a good choice. Good luck to him in turning his life around.

Tillery turning it into a kickboxing match was the funniest **** ever. He would've chopped Bowe down with low kicks if that fugly toxic clown Newman hadn't pulled him over the ropes. We know how useless Bowe is under muay thai rules .

Bowe dirtied him first. Tillery getting DQed was bs, just like Bowe knocking out Mathis while he was on one knee somehow results in a NC.

What is it with people posting stuff in yellow? Is there a reason for this?
