Eliminate draws: Boxing needs OVERTIME

Or bring back 15 rounds, or leave it be.
And how to implement overtime? Scorecards are read... turns up a draw... then saddle up for a couple more rounds?
That can cause a lot of additional issues. Certainly if one of them was on his last legs in the 12th and then had time to recover while the scores were read and turns up winning for instance.

 

We need overtime to eliminate decisions.

Just what I was thinking. Go back to 15 round fights...

 

Would be epic, they could have a 10 minute break to refuel and then have three 2 minute rounds with the scorecards starting afresh.

 

That would remove all the pussies from boxing who don't come to fight.

 

Yeah let's do 3 extra rounds so we can have more Duk Koo Kim incidents /s

And plus, there could be ties EVEN if there was an odd # of rounds lol, via knockdown/point deductions/10-10 rounds etc etc

Doesn't change much of anything, even if there was an odd # of rounds.

And also, it's not like we get many draws anyways, it's less than 5% of the overall bouts, probably much less.
