Elite Boxing Lualaba 2025: Jacques Tshikubu Muvud vs. Jacob Tetteh Laryea RBR

Muvud - wearing an olive drab garrison cap on his head, the Congo flag stuffed into the hem of his trunks, the ABU belt around his waist, and a huge grin on his face - is now 10-3-1 while Laryea tastes his first defeat at 12-1.

I'd go out of my way to catch a rematch.

 

Nearly gave this card a miss...very glad I didn't.

 

Laryea gives a very classy interview in English, thanking the matchmakers & promoters for the opportunity. He congratulates Muvud and gives him his respect for earning the decision, but mentions that he did sustain an arm injury in round three (and is grateful to his corner for their motivational pep-talks insisting that he push through his pain and finish while fighting essentially one-handed), and on that basis makes a rematch request.

They hug it out, looks promising.

 

Muvud gives his interview in French ...all Greek to me.
