Elite level fighters who maximized their potential and skills?

    From all the current active ATG's which of them do you think maximized their skills and potential to the fullest?

    Bernard Hopkins
    Roy Jones
    Manny Pacquiao
    Erik Morales
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Floyd Mayweather
    Evander Holyfield

    For me; Hopkins, Morales, Marquez, Holyfield and Pacquiao maxed out their skills and potential in the ring and took all the fights they needed to make them great.

    Mayweather is about 90% still can be a lot greater (maybe a MW title? and the fight against that asian guy)

    Roy Jones maybe 65%, could have been top 10 ATG if he wanted to but was content with showboating against bums.

    Maybe if he had gotten a fight with Barrera or Morales (or Hamed) back in the day....but besides that i'm not sure he could have done more (obviously not taking into consideration getting ****ed over twice against Pacquiao)

    How about not losing to Norwood and John? How about not losing to Manny Pacquiao? He had the ability to win all three of those fights, but he fell short.

    I think you have to be pretty special physically to be an ATG and not maximize your potential/skills. Roy Jones probably could've done more but everyone else, they maximized their talents IMO. You don't reach greatness on talent alone.

    I don't disagree...but it's a fight I wanted to see, he would have won (IMO), and it should have happened. I don't blame him.
