The little I know about Greb tells me if he didn't win it in the ring, he'd wait for him in the parking lot and really whip his ass! But I think he'd beat him bad in the ring. He'd whip that smile off his face in rd. one

I don't think Leonard was a great middle weight anyway, and I think Greb would be too strong and too active for him at160lbs. Harry takes a clear decision here.

Do you think he wasn't? Grebs style was described often and the same. I think Leonard is a more "polished boxer" than almost anybody from that era that i've seen, boxing has evolved over time due to continuation and progression within the same general rules with some changed factors along the way, but boxing is about winning, styles make fights but style is reliant on substance to succeed especially at the top of any game.

So i'll take Greb, and stick to my opinion that Greb would look less polished as a boxer and more awkward than Ray Leonard based on report after report and descriptions from opponents about Grebs style, ultimately though I believe it doesnt matter since his style worked and was made to force others to fight his way and be unable to keep up, rather than to look nice and fall within all the rules and general thought of how boxers should fight.

But I think it's not far stretched to make a prediction of Grebs general style based off the huge amounts of information and specific descriptions of him from multiple sources and over years as well. It just needs to be researched by the person wanting to know.

But what would happen if Elite Leonard fought an Elite Greb?

How can anybody tell without footage.I watched some training footage of Greb which looked pretty amateurish.

We're talking about Greb here, the only man to ever beat Tunney and whip Dempsey in Sparring. Greb would win via a brutal, one-sided beat down.

I'm confident that at 160 pounds over 15 rounds Greb would kill him, only question is can Ray make it 15 rounds

Fantasy fights are impossible enough to handicap. Without film of one guy it makes it doubly impossible.

Well Greb beat a great welterweight who moved up to middleweight in Walker, albeit a different style of fighter than Leonard.
It is difficult to call without footage, but I just think Greb’s size advantage, incessant work rate and sheer toughness would be too much for Sugar Ray.

Greb, if Duran did it at LW, Greb surely does.
