It seems that someone doesn't want this fight. The pie is too big and both of them will get their biggest pay ever. What are they bitching about? They better make a poll and ask the people who they want more to watch fight, Pac or Floyd.

true but the only good points ellerbe will make are on floyd's behalf. the man couldn't be objective and even tweak a dollar and 50 cents against floyd in an argument because his only job is to blow wind up floyd's arse - and he gets paid well doing it.

Ellerbe works for Floyd, why would he make any statements that don't benefit Floyd?

when is the head doctor ellerbe allowed to speak. he should just go back to rubbing pbf's chest, and giving him head.

The problem is, the numbers are only part of the story. If you look at those facts and assume that every person who bought Hatton/Pacquiao was just a Hatton fan, then you to say that Mayweather has 700,000 more British fans than Ricky Hatton, which is obviously nonsense.

He said Cotto wasnt a big atraction and after he said that he was asked but so isnt Marquez and his answer was "but JMM has a country on his back" and now he changed his tune after he saw the numbers that the Cotto-Pac fight generated.

he should change his nick from"money" to "walking contradiction".

Ellerbe is doing his job. You're right, there is too much money at stake to let a purse split ruin the fight. However, if they can strongarm a few extra percentage points out of Top Rank, why not do it? I'm sure Arum will try to do the same.

This is what a ****** does. Ellerbe's point is clear. Floyd can carry a ppv, and Cotto can't. If you don't understand this, and continue to post this ******ed outlook, we're really going to think you're dumber than a ****, ****.

If you're talking about the Brian Kenney interview, he was asked that question about Mosley I believe. If you remember, Cotto was set to fight Clottey when Floyd announced he was fighting Marquez. Given that, it would make no sense to question why Floyd was fighting Marquez instead of Cotto. Anyway, whether or nor Cotto is a big attraction is a matter of opinion. Saying Cotto is a bigger attraction than Marquez is a fact that is backed up by numbers.

If it were PAc who was blowing away Floyd in ppv's against common opponents, you would hear these rat ass PAc fans chanting Pac 60-40. You're all phony. Ellerbe will representing Floyd, and Roach and Arum down with Pac. That is how it goes... The numbers don't lie. Floyd knows that the fans want this fight, and that he has to make concessions, but that weight won't be one of them. Do you really think that Pac will get 60-40, 55-45 and the fight at 145? **** out of here.

Puga, when was that quote said? Anyway, I'll ask you this question as well. Does Cotto not being a big attraction in the eyes of Ellerbe prevent him from being a bigger attraction than Marquez? The point that Ellerbe made here is that Cotto is a bigger draw than Marquez, not that Cotto is neccesarily a big draw himself.
