    I don't troll and it's not a joke.

    It absolutely failed.
It did not meet it's expectations.

Success is them predicting "It will do over 1 million buys"
Failure is them predicting "It will break the PPV record"

You do realize he was talking about Pac-Mayweather?

Obviously this isnt the case. Cotto has never done great numbers outside Mosley & Margo. Cotto-Judah did 250k...those arent big numbers. Comparing their numbers side by side, the 2 could not have been more even in terms of drawing power. Anyone who says otherwise reeks of bias.

Nope, missed that. But you're not saying that NeckBreaknAiken was talking about Pac-Mayweather, correct?

Lillarry only said he didn't think the number would be 3.7 million or whatever. He did not provide a number.

This has to be considered a little bit of a disappointment. I wouldn't go as far as to say it was a failure because I'm sure all involved lined their pockets, but still.

One of the first things tought in business school is to "under promise, over deliver". Schaefer running his yap predicting that this fight would break May/DLH was ridiculous. If there were no expectations, we would all be praising this as a better number than Pac/Cotto and even more impressively, as boxing fans, we've seen 2 of the top 10 PPV's of all time in the past 6 months. We should be celebrating this news as fans of the sport.

The point has been clearly made. As such, it's time for me to move on to the next subject. Should you wish to do more research, it's all there for you. As I easily demonstrated.

In general, I'm not the person to play games with when it comes to asking to provide evidence. If I say I saw something, I almost certainly did and can pretty reliably go and document the information fairly quickly and make those who would try to cast doubt on me or what I said look like impotent imbeciles.

You're not the first person to find that out here, and you probably won't be the last. However, you would do well to keep it in mind in the future. I know I would were I you.

Of course it's the case and his numbers have nothing to do with it.

Cotto is a ppv attraction and while he doesn't draw great numbers he's got his own fanbase that buy his fights, Shane Mosley doesn't have this and he isn't an attraction however he does make a good opponent and will play his part in doing good numbers against someone who is a ppv attraction.

Floyd's husband is biased. He might have increased the numbers to get an upperhand on the negotiation with pacquiao.

Vargas isnt a "ppv attraction", specially not at the time Mosley fought him. They did 400k buys. Outside of Tito & oscar when vargas was in his prime, he has never touched those numbers.

Stop repeating what your boyfriend says and trying to sound clever from it, form your own opinion. Hey pbf said "Shane Mosley is not a ppv attraction!" so I'll say that too and it'll be right.

Shane is no ppv attraction thats why Schaefer predicted 3-4mil ppv buys and HBO vice President Mark Taffet said it may break the record of 2.4mil. NOWHERE CLOSE. But they wouldnt make such predictions if PBF wasnt fighting Shane. It was a fight 10years in the making apparently.

And the the bold part is the funniest part. Try repeating your boyfriends mantra when it fits your agenda "men lie, women lie, numbers dont lie".

You found one post by someone called 'SuperFloyd' that I would say was someone claiming it would smash the records, one post.

In fact this post insinuates that people were raving about it shattering records before the report about the ticket sales, yet after you've spent half an hour looking for posts you only found one person who claimed it would shatter records and that one was made after the fight had taken place.

The truth is most people predicted it would do between 1.5 and 2.0.
