Whats happening with all the "" from Mayweather fans? Why are you happy, yet again, that it seems a fight with Pacquiao isn't happening?

We want the Pac fight to happen so he can school that limited and flawed fraud. It's Pac fans who are making excuses saying they have no problem with the fourth fight and the pbf isn't a priority.

    Did you read the article?

-----But Arum did say, "We are pursuing a fourth fight with Marquez. As far as doing anything definitively, we aren't ready to do anything definitively. When we are ready to make a determination of what we are going to do, we will do it. We are not going to do this in the press. We will do what is in the best interest of ourselves and our client and make a decision when it's time to. If we decide we want to do a rematch with Marquez, there is no reason to sit down with Mayweather. If we want to explore a Mayweather fight, we will sit down with them. But I'm not going to sit down with them just because it's a good show."-----

That is not Ellerbe or Floyd, that is Arum.

When did Floyd said he wants to fight PAC in the first place?

Think majority are laughing at how blatant it is Arum doesn't want to put Pac in with Mayweather until he absolutely has to, which is most likely Pac's last fight. Most have been saying this from the start, just funny that he has no good excuses anymore since they claim they agreed to random blood tests without cutoff. (Even though that wasn't a good excuse either IMO):lol:

I and a lot of others have said the fight won't happen until the end of Pac's career. We've accepted it long time ago, so this isn't a shocker or let down. :thumbsup

If Pacquiao is a fraud as many are saying, don't bump Mayweather up too much on the all-time great list if he beats him (and I say "if" only because I don't know if they will actually fight. If they do sign to fight, that "if" turns into a "when").

Not trying to take anything away from Mayweather more than I am attempting to keep things in proper perspective. A win over Manny Pacquiao in 2012 at welterweight means less than say a win over a prime Marlon Starling, Felix Trinidad, Ike Quartey, etc. Pacquiao just isn't close to being a special fighter at welterweight. I'd could easily name upwards of 40-50 fighters who I'd favor over him at the weight, including the aforementioned ones. What I'm trying to say that while it is the biggest possible win out there for Mayweather at 147 currently, it's not a win that would bump him into the 10-20 greatest fighters of all time or anything as some have said. Plus the majority of fans have already had Juan Manuel Marquez beating him at welterweight, which frankly, is a terrible thing for the way Pacquiao's head-to-head ability is perceived. **** got real bad real quick for Manny.

Not a knock on Mayweather obviously. His best potential all-time ranking is just kind of limited because he's in an era that's a low-point for the 147/154 pound weight divisions. When Victor Ortiz or Andre Berto is a champion, it's not a good era. Aaron Davis would've likely been a top 10 pound for pound fighter today. Boxing history is simply too deep, as are the resumes of many of the past greats.

Jack you're the one making threads justifying and defending them not fighting? The **** you talking about?
