Id much rather have a pac-floyd fight asap, but i understand with all the controversy of their 3 fights that a fourth fight might be necessary

 

The real world :deal. The fight never happens if the money is not a 50/50 split so yeah a 4th fight gains no leverage no matter how big it is

Geez, you are a piece of work. Negociations also include the venue, the ring size, the weight of the gloves and most importantly drug testing and its cut-dates. I didn't bother to call it OSDT because it isn't in the first place as it is supposed to be implemented all year long... So yes, there is plenty of room to gain leverage. :smoke

With the blood and urine random testing issues settled, the next hurdle would be the fight purse. Early this year Mayweather was asking for a $100 million purse but Pacquiao said it may be too big for the promoters to raise.
Mayweather also wanted a 55-45 purse split in his favor, claiming

And what about the venue? Mayweather wants MGM and Arum prefers Dallas cowboy stadium.

The fight is not happening in Cowboy stadium for so many reasons. Manny and Bob are scared of that ass beating just accpet it and move on the 4th fight is not going to change a damn thing

Mayweather thinks he has the upper hands in the negociations because he is the PPV main attraction which put Arum in a situation with little room to maneuver.
If Arum plans to do a Pacquiao-Marquez IV, it is first to make some extra bucks. Plus he is putting himself in a better postition to dictate his terms to Mayweather as Pacquiao will have dethroned Mayweather in the PPV rankings (he is counting on it). That's how things roll in the boxing world.

No you dont get it Manny and Arum are scared of Mayweather thats the problem they are not going to fight him. None of those things you talk about are going to change in 6 months. Mayweather is not fighting anywhere but the MGM Mayweather would not change is stance from agreeing to a 50/50 slpit. And Mayweather would still have Manny take the test which Arum says is not a problem. Oh by they way what if Manny actually loses on the score cards next Marquez fight?:rofl:rofl:rofl
