Ellerbe Says Victor Is No Tune-Up For Pac

    CEO of Mayweather Promotions, said it on the scene. take it for what it is worth.

    From the scene:

    Ellerbe denied the continued rumors of Ortiz being selected as a tune-up opponent for a potential fight with Pac in 2012.

    "Ive heard all this BS about a tune up, or lead in. Nothing about victor is a tune-up. Hes a tremendous fighter and he also comes in with a great deal of confidence because of his last win. Floyd stepped up and said, 'Give me the best other guy out there, since we cant make the fight with the other guy, for obvious reasons."

    Don't get anyone's hopes up. We were always disappointed last time whenever there was an expectation for the fight to happen.

    As Floyd's lover Ellerbe has more credibility than Arum, or Floyd Sr. as well as uncle ******.

    I also do not believe there will be a Pac-May fight in 2012 or ever

    He also said they want the Amir fight AFTER the Summer, so it would probably happen in September.

    according to ellerbe, it seems like pac still hasnt compromised on the drug testing by what he said.

    with Khan on the horizon why would Floyd fight Pac? He has another GoldenBoy opponent lined up that they will overhype to death while they keep trying to rip down Pacquiao's legacy in the media with accusations and ****.

    i never expected this fight to happen anyway. they're not even looking to fight pac. They'll just keep throwing out the drug test line, and go after some more easy paydays.
