I have been using a threadmill for years and I find now my ankles , knees. Legs, lower back allows hurt. Must be from the impact. I cant get the workout i wanna and use to outta it.

I heard ellipticals are great cardio workout. No impact. More fun. Etc.. Heard you can go longer on them etc. But i dont know. My old friend had one and loved it and he was in good shape.

Seems like people favor one over the other.

Just looking for some solid output cause i might be buying one

Treadmill is beating me lol. I cant jog outside now cause of my lower body hurting plus theres snow.

    Take care. Baldwin

Ellipticals are a big waste of time IMO. Get the stair machine that thing is brutal and low impact...

Ellipticals would hardly be a workout if you're already very fit.

For low impact, there's also rowing and swimming.

cycling would also be a good alternative. I find it harder then running. (probably because im used to running)

Elipticals are excellent. When used with a high degree of resistance, its much harder than running, and theres no spinning of the foot that comes with tredmills ands not good for you in the long run.
In Sweden I did cross country skiing, which the elipticals are designed to be like, and **** its tough!

Elipticals are a great piece of kit.

I usually do intervals on them for. One 14 minute interval, 2 minute rest break, repeat the interval and then go home.

In that 28 minutes it can leave you feeling ruined. Especially as the Resistance and Incline go up together.
