10 rounds - Masood Abdullah vs Marc Leach - Featherweight

This is better than the main event which I won’t watch. Abdullah is 29 but hasn’t fought anyone of note so far in his career. Leach has mainly campaigned at 122 where he wasn’t a big puncher but very difficult to land on. He’s trained by Jamie Moore and has some good upset wins including over Chris Bourke and Qais Ashfaq.

I am picking Leach to win this one. If it were over 12 rounds I’d be even more confident. Looking forward to this.

Abdullah starts the contest off the front foot stalking Leach down. He needs to win the opening rounds as Leach usually comes strong late. Great body shot from Abdullah at the end of the round.

I don’t think Abdullah will be able to maintain this high intensity over the course of the fight. I like that Abdullah is regularly throwing to the body and not head-hunting as Leach has good upper-body movement.

I think Leach is just having a look at AB then he'll warm to it around rd 6-7 .

Abdullah’s size advantage is helping him massively here. He looks way bigger than Leach.

May be too late then. He doesn’t have the power to stop Abdullah. It’s a shame that Leach is so much smaller, he’s getting manhandled right now.

Abdullah starting to unload on Leach. I reckon he might get stopped. Size difference is just too much.

This is a good performance from Abdullah but we must remember that the size advantage is a big reason for his performance compared to the likes of Bourke, Yafai and Davies.

Nigel Travis says that he is thinking of pulling Leach out in the next round.
