Two men who spit a series with Walcott, albeit at different end of his high point. I am not surprised that they didn't fight, because there was no meaningful overlap. Film of Ray woudl obviously greatly assist us in this one. because we have plenty of fil of Layne. Ray like Walcott, was a man who lost his potential prime, due to the politics of the day. Layne was a flash in the pan, full of **** and vinegar, who burned out very quickly. If you put a gun to my head I woudl say Ray, because he did a bit better against younger versions of Charles and Walcott. It should be noted that outside of them, his resume is very thin. I reluctantly wen with Ray.
