Had to start over just to get back into the ebbs and flows of this fight...I got unavoidably detained, oh well life happens.

Round 7 Rojas pumping the jab effectively again, maybe just a little less snap and pop from the first 4 rounds but still nice. Vaszquez lands the 3 biggest punches of the round but is not busy enough throwing one punch at a time, and not sustaining his workrate enough. I scored Rojas

Round 8 Aaaaauuuuugggghhhhhh! Missing another round *sigh*

9 Rojas snapping the jab again for the first 30 then this turns into a brilliant display of infighting for Rojas and fighting with your back to the ropes for Vazquez! Rojas backs Wilfredo to the ropes for most of the round, showing real nice infighting skills that you might not expect by his build, Vazquez doing some nice body work from the ropes and snaps Rojas back, shifting back to mid ring infighting toe to toe. Rojas shouldn’t be fighting Wilfredo’s style but so far is holding his own there if not taking it. Back to the ropes, for another Rojas round

Round 10 narrow Vazquez or even round. Rojas not jabbing or throwing quite as much but his hand speed is still good when he does string a combo together. Wilfredo not getting backed up this round, rather pressing it more. But Rojas forces a couple of clinches forcing the ref the halt the action (nice officiating so far), Wilfredo lands the harder cleaner more telling shots. Good Difficult round to score.

Round 11- Vázquez comes out strong, hurts Rojas who goes down but for the ropes. Ref calls for an 8 count....Vazquez back on the offensive assault it is all over!

Very good fight, very satisfying ending! Wilfredo is largely forgotten and perhaps underrated on this forum...but then again so is Rojas who goes largely unlooked at or undiscussed.

2 of the judges scored this fight pretty fairly with a 2 & 6 pt edge for Rojas (although 6 seems wide, but then again there are 2 rounds missing on my card)...the 3rd judge scored 8 Rojas 2 Even and none for Vazquez....glad it didn’t go to the cards I would have hated to have that announced....Vázquez was behind but not shutout IMO

I had Rojas 77-75 5-3 in rounds, although I could see 6-2. I feel Vazquez certainly took the 3rd and 6th....very good fight! Thanks for sharing this one
