    While you are there, perhaps you can find Elvin's championship belt. It's about the only place he is going to find one with his name on it. I'd tell you to yank up VHB's sense of reality and bring it back with you, but it seems to be pretty firmly rooted there. Just relax, take a deep breath, click your heels together three times and say, "There's no place like ESB".......

    I remember seeing Elvin in the proverbial heap on the canvas at the end of the fight, unable to move for a few minutes. What do you think a fight is?

    Ayala seems to have a good chin and he is considered a good prospect.

    Ayala got the championship fight on the basis of his 10-round draw with Contender champion Sergio Mora, when he boxed extremely well and might have been unlucky not to have won.

    Ayala seems to have a good chin and we know that he is fast on his feet and has some evasive skills.

    Former world title challenger Elvin Ayala has signed an exclusive promotional agreement with Las Vegas based TKO Boxing Promotions. The announcement was made by TKO Boxing president Chet Koerner.

    The 27-year-old Ayala, from New Haven, CT, carries a record of 18-3-1 (8 KOs), and will return to the ring at the inaugural “FIGHT NIGHT AT THE PLAZA” on Friday January 23rd at the Plaza Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

    In Ayala’s last bout on March 29, 2008, he battled IBF middleweight champion Arthur Abraham over twelve hard fought rounds before being stopped in the final stanza in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany .

    “Elvin has all the tools to be a world champion and our goal is to get him another shot at the title this year. Prior to the fight with Abraham he had the draw with Sergio Mora who went on to beat Vernon Forrest so there’s no question in our mind that he can compete at a world class level.. We’re proud to add him to our team at TKO Boxing” said Koerner.

    Ayala fought to a draw with Sergio Mora on October 16, 2007 in a bout broadcast on ESPN from the Home Depot Center in Carson , CA.

    Details of Ayala’s upcoming bout on January 23rd will be announced shortly. He is managed by Alan Haddleman.
