Friday, October 30th on the Munguia-Johnson undercard. Soto will be making the second defense of his WBO Light Flyweight title against former 3-time perennial strawweight world title challenger Carlos Buitrago. Soto is probably the weak link amongst the rest of the champions at 108, but this isn't too bad given how strong and badass the division is. La Pulga is a strong, hard hitting brawler and has a good chin given how he managed to take most shots from Acosta without flinching. Buitrago will be making his forth attempt at a world title and last most likely. Buitrago doesn't really deserve this title shot given how he hasn't beaten anyone of note since Julian Yedras, although I thought he deserved the nod against Arroyo. Also interestingly enough, El Chocorroncito trainer for the fight will be Miguel Cotto.

Soto's record is rice-paper thin if actually held under the least bit of scrutiny. Decent chance for Román González's protégé to bag the upset. (make a nice story, both of them comebacking around the same time)
Just peeked at the RBR for the Heno fight, and yeah - Soto fought on very even terms with him, barely distinguishing himself from that level. I'd pick Buitrago to beat Heno fairly confidently.
