10-9 Heno, ultra close, nudged it over the line with his late rally off the ropes. Soto's engine again gets high marks, but his accuracy doesn't..

    77-74 Heno

Soto guts his way to just the sort of comeback he so desperately has been wanting & toiling for the last few rounds. Body shots beginning to pile up and make Heno seek the clinch.

    10-9 Soto

    86-84 Heno

If he doesn't win this round, Soto needs a knockdown to retain his title (with a draw) on my card.

9th was ultra close, but I thought Soto shaded it. Soto probably takes the 10th, too...though Heno controlled more of the round.

Both torquing big hooks into the body, Soto's left versus Heno's right. Soto managing to stuff the right upper-hook of Heno while jumping in on him, and clattering down across his brow with the right hand. Soto nails Heno with a left hook that just clips the point of his chin, almost imperceptibly stunning him and leaving him sitting pretty for a right cross that really buckles his knees. Soto follows up but Heno weathers it until tying up, grinning but obviously feeling the pace.

    10-9 Soto

    95-94 Heno

Yep. I had it 86-84 entering round ten, so mathematically he didn't win that one it would be 96-93, meaning he would need at least a 10-8 in either round 11 or 12 for a draw.

Whether or not the belt changes hands, this is a very evenly matched (and rematch- if not trilogy-worthy) rivalry. :deal:
