Soto's body work setting up some choice head shots for him, catching Heno with far more left hooks than he did in the first half.

    10-9 Soto

    104-104

Crucial moment there, knockdown ruling (or lack thereof) could be a difference maker on the cards..

Soto laid it all on the line down the stretch, Heno still a bit sharper but just getting drowned out. (and honestly could have been ruled as dropped).

    10-9 Soto

    114-113 Soto

Heno landed cleaner in the 11th, but Soto landed harder. Soto's power probably enough to shade the frame.

Heno did better work early, then gassed in the 12th. Soto's work wasn't clean and he only landed one right of note. Not much in the 12th, and it's one of the rare rounds that I will call 10-10.

    114-112 Heno, imo.

You and I were simpatico with the judges for a change tonight, and for once 3 fair scorecards.

I think Heno was a little unlucky not to get the decision, but Soto did surge in the last quarter. 114-113 Soto isn't out of the question, imo.

Good fight. Had some questions from Heno coming in because I haven't really watched a fight of his aside from the one-sided Espinas fight but this guy is world-class. Maybe work on his stamina a bit because Soto surely won on the judges' cards by winning the last four rounds. Still thought Heno pulled it off, hopefully he gets another shot soon.

Either of you guys watch the Broadway card on Fight Pass last night? I miised it last night and I got the day off and I'm firing it up right now, was just wondering if it was decent. I'll watch Myquan Williams and George Arias anyway, but was wondering if any others were worth watching.
