Emanuel Augustus on friday night fights

Saw this.
Wonder if they are going to show him the respect he deserves.
He is a god to the hardcore fans.

 

hope he gets a good walkaway fight. he fight last time out was horrific to watch. got caught by all kinda of tish.

 

Man, I'll never forget when Money laid out a horrific beating on a then top contender Augustus.

 

i'll never forget floyds face when augusutus almost broke his nose. reminded me of xerxes at then end of that film 300

 

i forgot it pretty quickly as it never happened. augustus clearly was losing but floyd, again, still says that was his toughest fight. show some respect (****ing fanboys...)

 

I watched that one again not to long ago. EA was game, but Floyd pretty much dominated that fight thoroughly. Doesn't even touch Castillo I as far as his "toughest fight", unless his ego was badly damaged after EA blew him that kiss.

That said, I love EA to death and hope he gets one last FNF date.

 

oh yeah, you're right castillo was far tougher. but emmanuel made his ass work. i've seen fights where the guy wins 10/12 rounds but has to work his balls off for every one of those rounds. whereas floyd won about 7 or 8 rounds against oscar but it was a much easier night at the office

 

The other thing with Floyd is that his hands are always an issue. He might remember it as a hard night because he was using EA like a speed bag at points and it was hurting him to keep up that kind of pace.

 

well let's not go nuts here. mayweather won, and looked great at times, but augustus was giving him angles, movement and importantly, awkward unpredictability. he's nobody's punching bag, specially back in the day
