    He constantly brought up the right hand to block Oscars left. That was quality defense right there.

    I was really impressed by Navarette. Managed to avoid a lot of Valdez's attacks but showed a great chin when one did slip through. Very good control of distance. Thought it was a really great performance from first to last bell. Credit to Valdez as well for continuing to pressure right to the last and then speaking with dignity and respect after the fight. Class all round and a credit to Mexican boxing.

    Great fight, best I've seen this year by far from round 1-12.

    Navarette hands down a clear winner, busted Valdez up bad who again showed how limited he is as a boxer.....no jab and just swings for the hills......terrible ring IQ.
