This is why you give your fighters tougher fights early, before they've had a massive KO streak. They may have massive power but they start relying on it. Berlanga is clearly talented, but has fallen too much in love with his power

 

Wow, Berlanga getting outfought decisively on the inside... He's a decent stalker when he takes the time to set up his shots instead of artlessly seeking the KO, but he's not ready to contend.

 

Ultimately this is good for Berlanga, Nicholson landed a big right, and Berlanga took it well.

 

Well a lot of people wanted Berlanga to get rounds, to have a look at him over a longer period and they got it.

Not sure what to make of it yet, I'll definitely have to watch this tomorrow.

But from what I'm reading, people are not that impressed.

His next opponent wont fear him like the others, berlanga is average and can get hit easily.

 

Good news for Berlanga is that even if he's dead tired he can still punch the lights out.

 

Damn. I had berlanga at +10,000 in rounds 7 and 8.

 

Berlanga throws great hooks but has ordinary footwork, defense and stamina. Will make for some fun fights until he starts getting knocked out.

 

Now the guy can actually grow beyond being a novelty, use the experience, and evolve as a fighter. KO streak is kaput. Obviously dude has some work to do, and now we at least know what he brings beyond KO power.
