Not watching this but I saw a video of him nearly getting knocked out in the amateurs a few months ago and I saw one the other day of him getting bullied and bashed up in sparring by Erickson Lubin.

I like this comparison. But Lemieux is good and makes for some great KOs. I'm not sure Berlanga is quite as good a one shot puncher, but we'll see. He definitely has some of the same defensive and predictability issues.

Not impressed. Berlanga really has heavy hands. But I saw a lack of tools. Very little buddy punches. Not upper. The same combo over and over. And he was already tired. Also, need to work defense. Taking too many shots he shouldnt take.

Why do the announcers go along with this bull****? He was born in, raised in and fights out of Brooklyn, New York. So how exactly is he fighting out of Puerto Rico and representing Brooklyn? What a ****ing crock, there's no way he should be allowed to get away with that. That's about as legit as The Undertaker being announced as hailing from Death Valley. He's an American, say he's an American.

Mexican-Americans have been doing it for years, Puerto Ricans just want to get in on that action. :p

Not being announced as from Puerto Rico. That's just a straight up lie.

berlanga has no rhythm, he is strictly set and throw. dont know if they arent developing his boxing and just his set ups or what. he is not good enough to dominate a division without a better set of skills. power is real, but that aint gonna be enough.

Very easy answer. Getting Puerto Rican from the Islands and all 50 states involved sells. If you want to sell you need tonget Puerto Ricans and Mexicans to watch. They are more loyal to boxing. White Americans are watching UFC

Speaking of liars, "We've never seen him beat!" Yes we have you ass-holes. Just because you didn't call the fight doesn't mean it didn't happen!
