Valdez makes easy work of him. Valdez is twice the fighter , twice the power and twice the speed of Wilson.

He's been particularly active since 2018, that was a big part of why he's off the Box Azteca circuit to begin with. He fought several times in 2020.

When he went to 126 he stopped blowing guys out and so a lot of his fights have been pretty brutal.

10 years as a pro and still doesn't have the fundamentals down. War Valdez

"How hurt were you when Wilson knocked you down in the 4th round?"

Navarette: "I was really hurt and I would've been KTFO had the ref not been in the bag and given me about an hour to recover before waving it back on.''

It would've been hilarious if the dirty ploy had backfired. Imagine if the ref's reaction had been "Wow, this guy is really messed up. He can't even keep his mouth piece in when he looks down. FIGHT OFF!"

Valdez is one of those guys who gives off the impression of being a genuinely bad person.

I was surprised to see him actually avoid punches tonight.

    There was some improvement!

Well 5 years is about the time a pressure fighter like him typically has at top level, once their punch resistance goes they are not the same anymore and the signs were there tonight, he used to get away with his awkward style throwing wide power punches from range, lunging in and just outlasting opponents before but at this weight it will backfire eventually

I like Nava but Valdez is all wrong for him. If he goes to war like that against Valdez he will get stopped.

His punches look so amateurish, a good counter puncher like Valdez would exploit his flaws and knock him out.

As a fighter moves up in class, the blowouts happen less. Again, pretty standard in boxing.
