I’m “glad” you’re “glad” I think Russell and Warrington would beat him too. Not sure what means. Perhaps you’re implying some kinda of bias. The only one who roots along those lines is on the other side of this convo, partner.

This guy is a problem for anyone in the division he looks like he belongs and still powerful and strong. I reckon he beats Warrington and stevenson.

No, you always love the slicksters, so much so, you literally never see any punches landed by aggressive fighters, even when they're effectively aggressive. You're as biased as they come. I have no favorite style, I jump from style to style, and from fighter to fighter. I might be biased when I like someone, but the bias is usually not as predictable as yours.

Are you saying Navarette would beat those guys? Because I’m pretty sure you already agreed that he wouldn’t. A defensive conscious boxer with speed and reflexes will clearly be his kypyonite when he faces the very top level. Which Villa isn’t. And those other guys are.

The entire panel is why I don´t subscribe to Top Rank on Fite.tv.
I would love to, but I am not paying to listen to those clowns. I would much rather just read the RBR, pretending that this is the 50s and I am listening to boxing on a radio.

Would villa win a rematch? Did he earn one?

Gave Villa four rounds, just. No idea about those scorecards. Navarrete wasn't troubled in the slightest. He is, as I've thought, better than most believe.

Think I had it 9-3 Navarette.

Villa impressed me though. Used his feet well to control center ring and avoid being pushed against the ropes. Fast hands, decent engine and my word, he did well to ge tup in the 4th never mind continue boxing so well.

But Navarette is so heavy handed and it looked like Villa might crumble every time he got his clean. which wasn't insanely often but it was often enough to offset his good technical work. I also like that instead of learning to not over reach with his shots, his just now shifts into southpaw instead haha. I think that's essentially how the 4th round KD came by

I like Alimkhanuly too. GGG like in his hunting, knocked up a respectful record too

Definitely, all he'd have to do is avoid getting clipped early, and he'd probably win a rematch walking away. He made the adjustments in this fight that he needed to make, so all he'd have to do is improv on them. The sad thing is, the shot that clipped him in the first was a clear as day flash knockdown from a shot he didn't see coming and while the second was more hurtful, he recovered from it quite well. I don't think he has a bad chin, but merely that it was the first time he'd been in with a true puncher, and he had to properly calibrate his chin and it took him a few rounds to set it accordingly.

I would definitely watch a rematch but I'm not clamoring for it.

Given how active he is you'd think Navarrete's endurance would improve faster, but his energy keeps dropping off substantially in the 6th round.

Navarrete can't box to save his life. The weight bully will catch an L soon. He won't be able to walk through guys who are closer to c his size but with better skills for very long.

How in the world did two judges see it 114-112?! Even though Navarette is slow and awkward he landed the more telling blows throughout the fight. Hell, if Navarette didn't drop Villa twice these judges give it to Villa. Unbelievable.
