Wtf do you mean, so what? So that's what happened. It's an observation. It's a comment on the fight that we're watching and all commenting on. What is your problem?

I'm saying, that's a shame for Villa, to put in 2.5 minutes of really good work and have it go the drain. Of course I know that's how the cookies crumbles in this sport and sometimes it be like that, but... so what? We can't comment on it when it happens?

I get what you’re saying but I also think he wasn’t really doing much besides making him miss, he wasn’t landing anything good while making him miss so I think his work is being a little overrated.

    Round 6

Navarrete is taking big swings up top with the left hook, over and over as he marches forward. Those are missing as Villa spirals outward and uses quick timely leans to either side along with some head movement, but Navarrete is just baiting for a reaction with them, and herding Villa where he wants him, nearly trapping him in the corners several times and getting a piece with sidewinding body shots. Villa just throwing occasional pot shots while on the run, landing some jabs but not getting Navarrete's respect.

    10-9 Navarrete, close

    59-53 Navarrete

While the commentators were away calling the match in la la land, Villa did enough to win that round.

Villa needs to win almost every round from here on. He needs to work the 1-2 and get the hell out of the way. Can’t be there for return fire.

...is Vaquero the current p4p slowest elite in boxing? Or perhaps tied with the upcoming Joyce vs. Dubois clash's victor?

The problem these guys have with Navarette more than his awkwardness is he just doesn’t feel the punches of the guys in these weight classes and is willing to walk through everything.

    Round 7

Navarrete is thudding some left hooks into the jugular. Villas rolling with the shots well, snapping into pivots and launching himself from the pocket behind a still fairly sharp right jab. Villa now begins to dart in and brave the inside waters, putting together some combos behind the single hard step-in right jab, following it with straight & uppercutting lefts. Navarrete just taking his foot off the gas in this round enough to let some daylight in for RV4.

    10-9 Villa, close

    68-63 Navarrete

it’s funny, the consensus among the Internet was now that he moved up to 126, he will be a weight bully. I guarantee you those same insults are gonna start coming around if he starts dominating in this division.

    3. 10-9 Villa
    4. 10-8 Navarrete
    5. 10-9 Navarrete

    7. 10-9 Villa, I could go either way

Villa landed some nice clean shots, Navarrete was doing more damage though.

Some of these rounds are close or Villa rounds but you know he isn't getting anything in the judge's cards.

    Round 8

Navarrete is just casually hurling rights into the waiting mitt of Villa, getting him into a lulled stupor, hoping to instill a sense of false security to sneak in a left hook disguised in the sheep's clothing of his errant, lumpy jab. Villa not buying it, being extremely cautious, outmaneuvering Navarrete and punishing him with precise counter right jabs and left crosses while never ceasing to move his feet.

    10-9 Villa
