Despite the fact it would make me look like an idiot though, I would love nothing more than for Shannon to knock Vitali out.

That scenario is highly unlikely my friend. If anyone is pulling out a late round knockout it will be Vitali. If Briggs is gonna win, it has to be early in the first half of the fight.

asswipe!!!. I never said shannon wasnt dangerous... he is.... great power and good hand speed..... for 3-4 rounds... we know his history... but to say he the most dangerous HW right now is over reaching IMO.unless you are talking about first 3 rounds.. simple because he has MAJOR stamina issues

Jebus Alisjab, it doesn't occur to you that Steward is trying to hype the fight?

I'm hoping for a good fight but "most difficult" of Vitali's career is a pretty big exaggeration in all probability.

Yes, even though Shannon Briggs fades in long fights, pretty muchly always has (he has a great excuse: asthma), with that being said, the danger he poses in the first half of a fight surpasses the danger any other fighter poses in an entire fight.

What I want to know, is if David Haye is such a great fighter, and he wants to compare himself to Holyfield, why doesn't he take on guys like Sam Peter, David Tua, and Shannon Briggs? Oh I can tell you why, he's a punk.

I don`t see it being likely I just feel that Briggs is going to leave everything he has in the ring knowing this is his last chance at leaving behind a legacy.

Of course Steward is hyping the fight, but with that being said, there is also a large fraction of truth to his statement. For the first half of the fight Vitali better use steel implants on his jaw, he's gonna get tested, guarantee it.

Of course he has a chance. For me it is roughly about 5-10% at max..

Vitali has a granite chin and is very good at avoiding punches. He also has a good ring int. so I don´t really see much of a chance for Briggs (slim or fat)...

What part of my post where I said I think Vitali will win did these idiots miss? Shannon Briggs will pose a real danger in those first 6 rounds, just watch. He could pull it off too.

It does only take one punch, but I think the ATG, harder hitting, better punching, dominant champion Lennox ****ing Lewis had a slightly better chance of landing "one punch" than a shot to ****, never-has-been Shannon Briggs.

Steward is hyping the fight. Everyone with two brain cells to rub together, i.e. not you, knows this fight is a mismatch.

I see it this way but Briggs is dangerous if he can overcome his stamina issues. Don´t forget he KO´ed Lyakhovich in round 12.

To box against a puncher is always dangerous for every human. Everyone can be ko´ed in the Heavyweight division.

lol, so let me ask you something, the topic is current fighters who pose the greatest threat to Vitali, NEWSFLASH: Lennox Lewis has been retired for a long time.

Secondly, I stated a few times already that I think Vitali will win, but will not be shocked if Briggs knocks him the **** out. Anyone with a properly functioning cerebral cortex knows that Vitali is gonna have to ride that bike all night, or he's gonna get caught and possibly knocked the **** out.

    Ageing ass?

    Vitali: 39 yrs old.

    Briggs: 38 yrs old.

I'd say the age factor here is negligible. I'd also point out that the remarks from Manny have been translated. I doubt he meant this is a tougher fight than Lennox was.
