Wait is this a rehashing of the older stuff? A thread about this was made and it was determined he'd had surgery and was recovering. (and it wasn't cancer)

I heard it wasn't the case, but when I heard what was actually wrong was either vague or undisclosed, I started to think it probably was true and he just didn't want anyone fussing about it. Of course I hope it's not true. But, you know, I suspect it is.

There was a thread which seemed to come to the conclusion that he had something far less serious and that he'll be alright. That was pretty recently, maybe at the weekend

Hopefully it's not Stomach Cancer.. Because that can be a death sentence.

I read this too, "My brother has had problems with a nervous stomach, which turned into diverticulosis," was the quote I saw the other day. Hopefully this is the case, cancer's nasty business.

if he has cancer, relax. hes like 70 something years old - thats what happens as we age. he looks healthy and motivated (and i assume hes accumulated some wealth). he should have the money to afford solid treatment and the know-how to stay in shape and mentally strong.

speedy recovery emmanuel - the only hbo announcer worth listening to
