Dare I say twitter. But yes twitter. Hatton just tweeted it as well.

  3. Jonathan Banks has wrote an obituary & will be in Wlads corner in Manny's place.

Ricky Hatton has also said RIP.

    No way?

Enjoy the ride Manny! Condolences to his family, god bless you.

The only man that was left on HBO who actually had a f*cking clue!

    Sh*t! Now what!?!

I think Wlad is to lose this next fight now, people underestimate Emmanuel Steward, people seem to think Wlad and his bro did what Wlad wanted anyway, but most of that was just a face. Manny transformed Wlad, and he also pointed him the right direction from the corner during rounds and it was those words that effected him in the ring, regardless of people thinking Wlad did what he wanted. I think he just wanted to appear that way that he was in control, but Manny was more than just that to Wlad IMO. Although, he may have not admitted it during the relationship, but he may do now.

Manny wanted to train David Haye to.

    Shame.

Probably the best trainer of all time?

RIP Manny Steward, such an interesting guy to listen to on boxing too, there was a great article on here about him when he talked about the amateur tournaments in the 50's in the states a little while back. Huge loss to the sport and he seemed in OK health a reasonably short while ago, certainly all there mentally.

ye as JonnyBGoode says he's possibly the greatest trainer of all time, and although he had diverticulosis there was nothing to indicate it would take his life so soon, a massive massive loss to the sport, is there anyone in the Kronk camp he passed his knowledge down to to carry the flame or is his coaching skill gone forever?

McLellan sacked Steward and it may have ultimately cost him his life as it were prior to the Benn fight. Didn't want to pay for Manny so he hired that weapon in the sailor hat and we all know what happened....

All I can find with a Google search is that he's still alive, but the most recent article was 8 hours ago
