The only thing that will stop a fight with the Klits happening is the terms. The Klits need to be sensible otherwise Manny will be correct.

i agree with that, but boxing is a job, and theres no point accepting a hard job if the pay isn't that great, and no better than the so called easier jobs. haye was in a tough position last time. he was desperate to get the fights, but the offer was quite laughable. in my opinion it wasn't a serious offer, but more of a **** take due to what haye was doing, and they was probably shocked haye accepted such an offer.

Vitali will soon retire, and I doubt Wlad lasts an extremely long time. SO, if this man wants to prove himself, and beat them...He better do the **** soon!

I saw Wlad's face in the press conference, when he was told Haye would not fight him. There was not a hint of relief - instaed there was poorly hidden wrath and disappointment. He REALLY wanted the fight with Haye in June last year.

Haye was in the position to fight without payment in that fight. For a professional boxer, this would have been stupid. But - had Haye asked for a bigger share of payment ('cause Haye's share of TV income turned dead), I assume the Klits had given him a small share of the gate money or the German TV money.

This is just the beginning of promoting a possible fight between both of them.

the offer was **** but I dont doubt something could have been worked out. Thats behind us now though , All Im saying is, Haye has made his bed as far as I am concerned so unless he faces a brother K next ( or as stated I would accept Adamek if Adamek KOs Arreola but it would have to be Wlad after that ) I am done supporting him.

maybe, who knows. if haye beats ruiz, then he's in a better position. he has sky PPV, which will make him a few quid, well actually that alone will make him millions.

Doesn't Haye have to fight Valuev again after Ruiz? (assuming he beats Ruiz, which isn't a given).

If that's true, he probably won't even be free to start negotiating for free fights until ... when? ... November? At the earliest (assuming he beats Valuev, which isn't a given).

I think Valuev had a rematch option, but he said he doesn't want a rematch, plus no one would buy it anyway, so that's unlikely.

Well, that's one good thing. It's unlike King to let a heavyweight title just fly away like that, though.

Sauerlands have options on Haye so they can wait with the Valuev match up as Haye-Klitschko will generate far more money. Haye had annoyed me to death with his selection of opponents/pulling out of fights at HW. However, the deal with Valuev went without a glitch and there was no talk at all about any disagreements with team Ruiz. I think Haye has sold his soul (so to speak) for the Valuev fight and he is no longer free to **** on everyone.

    Yup.

That's the advantage of owning the strap. Offering ten bob for the fight and the rights to the next two years of Haye's career won't wash anymore.

Whether they'd sooner let Haye get paid or fight a procession of mitteleuropean nonentities for a home audience that makes Hatton's fanbase look discerning is another matter.
